Each storage container will hold up to a room and a half of furniture. No need to rent an oversized storage unit, pack as many mobile storage containers as you need. While on site the container will be protected by a weatherproof Mylar cover. Your items will then be stored in our secure monitored warehouse. You can access your belongings at our facility upon request. When you need your items we will deliver the storage container.

Galt's Vaults Packing Tips

• Getting Started
  Your packing experience will be made easier with the proper supplies on hand. Properly sized corrugated boxes, furniture pads or blankets, specialized boxes for mirrors and breakables, sealing tape (other than masking or cellophane), marker, and inventory lists are essential for packing a mobile storage container.

• Filling the mobile storage container
  Heavy items should be placed in the bottom of the mobile storage container.
  Furniture should be disassembled and covered with padding.
  The weight should be evenly distributed throughout the mobile storage container.
  Place mattresses and box springs in protective bags.
  Items should be packed as tightly as possible to avoid load shift.
  Boxes should be of proper size for the contents and filled completely.
  If the mobile storage container is not completely full arrange boxes to avoid load shift or falling.
  Do not load more than 2,000lb. in the mobile storage container.
  Pack items you will need first or on a regular basis in the front.
  Put large items in the center of the vault.
  Keep an inventory of items packed.
  Many sofas can be stored on end to allow for maximum packing space.
  Place breakables in a dish-pack type of box and wrap each piece separately.
  Stack dishes on their sides and glassware upright.
  Clean and drain all appliances. Tape down moving parts and sprinkle baking soda over flat surfaces.  Try to leave the door ajar.
  Place mirrors and pictures in boxes and do not lay flat in the mobile storage container.
  Pack clothing in wardrobe boxes.

• Safety Considerations
  When lifting, bend at the knees not the waist. Get a firm grip and hold items close to your body.
  Do not store food, liquids, flammables, or hazardous materials.
  Do not let children play in, on, or around the mobile storage container.
  Keep the door closed and locked when not loading the mobile storage container.

A. Absolutely. Use as many vaults as you need. You can actually segregate your items more efficiently than with traditional storage. The per vault cost is reduced as you use more.

A. Remardably the cost is about the same as traditional self storage for units of similar size.
