Major LTL, less than truck load transportation carriers have
terminals in Bangor, Maine. These include Federal Express,
Yellow Freight, and Viking.
Negotiated pallet rates, for example, can be shipped all the way
to Fort Kent, Maine for $35.00.

like Federal Express, UPS, and DHL Bangor International is
just minutes from our warehousing and storage facility.
Rail Cargo: Galt Block Warehouse is
served by Guildford Rail. Also, container shipment from
China is usually cheapest by rail across Canada and into

required by the customers. Galt Block terminals are equipped
with electronic safety alarms, including burglar alarms and
sprinkler systems, providing customers peace of mind about
the safety of their products.

In the distributing of goods, Galt Block
Warehouse can also offer it's customers direct groupage
services to and from all major population and industrial
centers in the United States, with frequent departures and
arrivals. Galt Block's skilled specialists are trained to
coordinate every aspect of the customers shipping orders,
beginning at its doorstep, right through the time of
delivery to their customer. They are true logistics services

For stock control, Galt Block disposes of a
completely integrated computer program for the
administration and control of warehousing and storage distribution
services. Import and export orders are separated; after
registration, documents for order picking.

Possible customs clearance and delivery
documents can also be automatically produced.

After the registration of warehouse orders,
stock updating is automatically and simultaneously effected
(real time). Also at that time pick-lists, pack-lists,
labels and letters or carriages are produced according to
customer specifications.

To maintain warehousing and storage inventory control and
to inform customers accordingly, stock
mutations-and-inventory reports can be made available.
